We use all natural methods to grow the most nutritious and tastiest produce we can, in harmony with the ecosystem. We utilize companion planting, crop rotation and fabric row covers instead of pesticides, and a combination of hand weeding, mulch and tarping instead of herbicides.
Though we aren’t certified organic yet, we use only organic-approved soil amendments and never use broad spectrum pesticides (even the organic ones!). We till the soil exactly once to establish our permanent beds, then maintain them with cover crops and compost additions, feeding the soil not just the plants, and encouraging soil microbiology to thrive.
